2nd Line Network Engineer - South of England - 3-Month Contract - £150 a day (outside IR35) - Immediate Start

iO Associates are currently looking for a 2nd Line Network Enineer to join my client based in the South of England for an initial 3-month contract role offering up to £150 a day (outside IR35) for an immediate start (ideally 19th April). The ideal candidate will have proven experience with Cisco Meraki, BT/OpenReach installs, Windows 10 and with data centres. You will visit approximately 20 sites around the south of England to attend BT line installs, set up Cisco Meraki Routers and Windows 10 laptops with printers. You must own a car and any travel costs will be paid for.

You must have experience with the following:

  • Experience in on-site setup of Routers and wifi (these will be pre-configured), remote support will be provided
  • Experience dealing with BT/OpenReach installs
  • Excellent communication and soft skills, contacting site owners to arrange access and working with on-site 3rd party IT teams
  • Experience training users who may be unfamiliar with Windows 10 and printers
  • Excellent documentation skills to update our knowledge base with site information (port numbers etc) and photographs
  • Experience patching ports in data centres
  • CISCO Meraki stack, Windows10, O365, Intune, Trend Micro Apex One are ideal technical skills
