Intelligent Resource is working in partnership with a major public sector clients in the UK. We are currently recruiting a SAP Developer for a contract role based in London (Home based for Now)
Role: SAP Developer
Location: (Home based for Now), London
Duration: 03 Months
Role & Responsibilities
* Taking ownership of the remuneration SAP functional design, ensuring completion within allotted timelines and budget
* Analysing the business and technical requirements
* Analysing the 'as-is' SAP system capabilities and assessing technical SAP enhancement options
* Documenting technical options, including recommendations, in a clear and concise method to facilitate business decisions.
* Collaborating with project business analyst resource and business SME's to validate functional designs are fit for purpose and meet requirements
* Ensuring across the programme the designs are clear and understood
* Documenting final technical functional design, including enhancements to SAP functionality, Master Data, Transactional Data and use roles required to implement the approved solution.
* Development of approved technical SAP enhancement and unit testing
* Providing demos to business and project stakeholders to validate solution meets requirements during development phase
* Documenting unit test results providing a view of the scope of testing, success rates and outstanding defects
* Supporting later phases within the project - testing, business readiness and deployment
* Provide technical and functional guidance to wider project team and business, as required
* Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards for client.
Required Skills & Experience
Previous experience with Large integration projects
Previous experience with Legacy applications/Front End feeding into the Back End
understands configuration of SAP
Payroll in SAP would be good
'agency business' experience would be an advantage
Excellent client facing skills
Minimum 4+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development
Demonstrable experience of successful development and implementation of large complex SAP solutions
Strong SAP ERP expertise and deep understanding of various modules, experience in SAP payroll
Experience in Object Oriented programming techniques, RFC (Remote Function Call)
Development experience in RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms and Reports)
Knowledge and experience on ABAP BADI, BAPI, IDOC and SAP Workflow
Expertise in designing Smart forms
Need to be able to explain impacts to people who are not technical
