ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The purpose of the SAP FICA/CI specialist role is to act as a key player/expert in a project to replace some Legacy application by the SAP FICA Back End Ticketing application and its interfaces in the NMBS system landscape; this includes:
Manage the train ticket process in FICA/CI
Master data management (Business partners, Contract accounts, .)
Interfaces to and from different Legacy Applications via SAP PO/PI and SAP Idocs and web services
Interfaces to and from other SAP systems
Design solutions Preparation of functional/technical specifications using technical expertise
Customizing in Financial contract accounting (FICA) and Convergent invoicing (CI)
Participate in meetings with business in Dutch and French Major Accountabilities:
Actively bring in best practices, out-of-the box thinking, insights and technology trends to help improve the SAP FICA/CI application
Writing functional specifications for the development team and customizing the SAP FI & FICA application. You will report to the Project lead and Finance Business Area Lead and will work closely with the Finance department and other IT functions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
University (Master) degree or equivalent experience.
Strong analytical skills to analyze functional requirements and translate these into functional specifications and technical implementations.
A minimum of 7 years of experience SAP FICA CI module (Financial contract accounting and Convergent invoicing) Strong knowledge of billable (BIT) and Consumable (CIT) items
SAP OData and Fiori Design experience considered as an advantage
Integration with SAP CRM considered as an advantage.
Knowledge of the SAP BRIM solution is an advantage.
Customizing in Financial contract accounting (FICA) and Convergent invoicing (CI)
Technical SAP experience: Analyse Abap coding and Abap debugging, knowledge of FICA events
Strong communication skills. The candidate should be able to verbally communicate, read and write in Dutch, French and English.
Strength in building and reinforcing good governance, risk management and strong operational practices
