Description
This contract role is all about working collaboratively with the client to support the implementation, forming and management of a data platform and associated ETL processes in AWS.
The engagement will support the client in the effective implementation of a data platform on AWS and migration of data from existing databases.
This role will be split into 2 phases:
Phase 1: Discovery
Review and validation of business requirements. Understand current state including database structure, schemas and procedures/triggers. Identify strategic priorities and desired to-be state. Develop a roadmap for building the architecture and migrating the first 2 reports. Define engagement scope and refine deliverables.
Phase 2: Delivery
Host AWS immersion day to kick off delivery phase. Implementation of a Data platform on Amazon S3 storage and analytics tooling as selected by client. Support with Migration of data from existing database(s) to AWS Data platform. Documentation of Data platform architecture and migration process to support knowledge transfer.
