Job location: Sunbury on Thames

Opportunity

Procurement Specialist role will require you to apply an agile mindset, quickly adapting to new tasks and categories in order to support the Category Advisors in defining category strategies.

What you'll

  • supply market analysis, cost modelling and benchmarking to implementation of a category strategy at a site/market level by managing the localisation of the category strategy
  • support and enabling activities to deliver the objective of providing the business with a supply base that supports safe
  • deliver the innovation and business value benefits agreed in our category strategies
  • support or lead the development of category strategies depending on experience
  • support the Value Delivery across for the global businesses
  • oversee sourcing and contracting execution by Supply Chain Solutions
  • in certain circumstances lead the sourcing, contract negotiations and execution with suppliers
  • work closely with the projects team to understand details of procurement requirements

What you have

  • Master's degree in a related field preferred
  • proven experience working as a procurement specialist in the same area required
  • strong knowledge of the industry and market conditions
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • impeccable negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building
