World Leading Energy Trading Company have an exciting opportunity for a Business Assurance Manager for the Counterparty On-going Due Diligence proceseses in the Trading and Supply Business.

About the Role:
* Oversee a team of Counterparty Onboarding Focals (COFs) responsible for counterparty ODD
* Act as the main point of contact between the Business and Compliance on matters relating to counterparty ODD
* Support and drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives as part of the overall Counterparty Lifecycle Management (CLCM) Main Accountabilities
* Oversee the successful completion of periodic and event driven reviews of counterparties
* Day to day management of ODD COF team
* Act as focal point for the Business on all queries regarding counterparty ODD
* Act as the main point of contact between the Business and the Financial Crime Team (FCT) on counterparty ODD activities, including
* Promote awareness, knowledge and understanding of T&S's CLCM initiatives within the Business
* Engage stakeholders for feedback to continually improve the management and delivery of counterparty ODD within the Business and ensure fit for purpose
* Provide input and support the on-going continuous improvement initiatives relating to the wider CLCM
* Will manage a small team of direct reports
* The role is a key interface for the Business and its customers to provide counterparty KYC refresh or modifications but also expected to troubleshoot and help to continuously improve the process and act as liaison between company's compliance organisation and the business

About You
* Good understanding of general Financial Crime and KYC requirements and processes. Previous experience within T&S/Oil & Gas industry a plus
* Strong communication skills and a customer centric mindset (both internal and external customers)
* Superior stakeholder management skills to collaborate with the wider T&S business, the Financial Crime Team and functional stakeholders to deliver ODD requirements
* Process driven, with an ability to balance both commercial priorities and Financial Crime obligations to enable the business whilst maintaining regulatory compliance
* Ability to manage and develop a team
* Expert time management skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a demanding environment
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
* Ability to interpret reports and manipulate MI to present information in a clear, engaging way
* Ability to think outside the box and a mindset of continuous improvement to evaluate existing structures and develop solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the ODD processes within the Business and the wider CLCM

You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
