Role: Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

Location: London

Initial 6m Contract

Daily Rate: Competitive PAYE

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teams across Technology, Operations and Business Units to: Develop scenarios and exercises to assess processes which manage operational threats and incidents. Orchestrate the Firm's involvement in vendor-facilitated, and sector-wide exercises that assess the accuracy and responsiveness of the Firm's response processes
  • Develop and track program key performance indicators, including actions resulting from exercises
  • Develop documentation to enhance the organization's ability to deliver exercise services at scale
  • Engage and train stakeholders across the business regarding exercise development, planning and facilitation procedures
  • Coordinate logistics to support planning and delivery of exercise initiatives

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Exercise planning
  • Professional experience in a Cyber, Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery related role.
  • Expert in development of impactful and visually compelling content in PowerPoint.
  • An understanding of technology used in a large infrastructure environment is required (ie Linux, Networking, Servers, Databases, Web Infrastructure, Storage and Cyber controls)
  • Experience in a planning and facilitation of operational exercises within a large organization.
  • Understanding of existing and emerging finance industry regulatory requirements related to business continuity, disaster recovery and operational resilience.
  • Capable of managing through influence across multiple groups including both technology and business stakeholders.
  • Capable of synthesizing multiple asks and timelines into holistic, clearly defined milestones and deliverables within a dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and to meet deadlines.
  • Strong initiative and a proactive attitude in approach to work.

Additional Requirements;

  • Eligible to work in the UK without the need of visa support/sponsorship
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
