Description
Data Strategist/Data Architect is required to help an established UK retail bank to set up and transition to a new greenfield cloud-based bank. This role is for someone to come in and play a Data Architect/Data Strategist role to help the existing teams to define the Data Management agenda in Target Operating Model, Data Concept Modelling, Catalog management etc. This is a client advisory role
This role is fully remote and is inside IR35
Responsibilities:
- Provide Data Strategy expert guidance and leadership for a greenfield multi-tenant data platform in google public cloud which includes the following:
- Datamodelling and Taxonomy
- Data Management solutions including Data Quality, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Data Discovery, Reference Data Management etc.
- Data Operating Model
- AI and ML platform solutions
- Engage in and contribute to the Target Operating Model design for the data platform
Experience:
- Experience operating at strategic levels as a subject matter expert to drive data management solutions and associated data operating models in banking and financial services
- Familiar with banking domain model and BIAN
- Hands-on experience in Datamodelling and taxonomy
- Hands-on experience with Collibra or similar metadata management tools
- Experience with data strategy, data management maturity and assessment model such as DCAM
- Knowledge of semantic modelling, knowledge graphs and business ontologies such as FIBO
- Experience in BI & Analytics
- Familiar with modern distributed data architectures, data warehouse, data lake and emerging data mesh strategy
