Overview:

The Risk division has a fundamental responsibility to protect the Bank. With group-wide responsibility for the management and control of credit, market, operational and reputational risks, we have a unique vantage point which allows us a holistic view of our businesses and our clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Helping translate business requirements/business architecture to a system based IT solution
  • Working with technical leads and application architects to ensure front to back solution alignment is achieved and interfaces contracts between different systems, domains etc are well defined and understood
  • Ensuring where applicable and feasible alignment is kept with broader organizational strategy/business plans.
  • Determining the non-functional requirements such as data volumes, through put performance, data retention requirements, authorization/authentication etc. in order to ensure solutions are scalable, robust, allow for agile change and meet any project service level agreements (SLA's) and regulatory requirements
  • Producing relevant artefacts including architecture blueprints, decision logs and technical solution documents.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), Zackman (Nice to have but not essential)
  • Experience with solution architecture definition and development of associated roadmaps - particularly at the functional/domain level
  • Experience working in the financial industry and in particular risk technology
  • Broad understanding of data and its usage within financial industry including reference, trade, market and risk data
