Linux DevOps Engineer

A Linux DevOps Engineer is required for a leading financial organisation, located in Amsterdam but remote work, of course.

Project/Environment Content:

They build and maintain an outstanding suite of reliable, high performing systems and applications.

The Innovation team consists of 7 team members, currently they are building a unique fractional offering for multiple brokers in Europe using the current technology stack: -

  • Linux
  • Kafka
  • Kubernetes
  • Angular
  • CI/CD tooling
  • Cloud technology (AWS)

It would be great if you can help them finish this unique and great offering.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Develop Order Validator/fraction engine/OMS for UAT in new Clearing AWS landing zone
  • Develop APA interface
  • Develop Pricing interface with Refinitiv (Reuters)
  • Build interface to Finance systems
  • Advance risk monitoring tools in the application

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Strong engineering instinct and a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals combined with flawless coding skills in language like JavaSpringboot/Javascript/GoLang. Hands-on developer, creating code.
  • A demonstrated record of achievement as key member in complex technical projects
  • Desire to continuously improve in a rapidly evolving environment
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to clearly express your thoughts
  • Readiness to set technical direction, promote engineering principles and do the right thing
  • Affinity with financial services and IT security
