There is a new role with a top-tier global Hedge Fund in London looking for a Python Developer to join a greenfield Risk project.
The Fund are one of the largest in the world running a flat, fast-paced and highly-progressive environment. They are building a new development team to work on a greenfield book of work within Risk Technology, implementing a greenfield Risk Analytics platform and wider suite of customizable applications for the Front Office trading groups worldwide.
They are looking for a Python Developer to join this team, focused on designing and developing the new platform and applications, working closely with the business and wider business/tech stakeholders in the Risk space. The platforms will be subject to high-volumes/high-throughputs of data so needs to be developed to a level of rigour.
You must have the following skills to be considered:
- Strong background in Python programming
- Good SQL
- Experience developing complex and robust applications at scale
- Any financial services experience is preferred but not essential
- Pandas or NumPy preferred but not essential
Rate is negotiable between £550-£750/day via Umbrella
