Our client is a leading Investment Management company and has a requirement for a Business Analyst to work on their Target Investment Model Programme. The programme aims to simplify and streamline the Investments product offering for its Unit Linked and With Profits business. Part of the new Target Investment Model is the delivery of an ACS ( Authorised Contractual Scheme ) solution, the UK version of a Tax Transparent Fund, envisaged to deliver a range of building block funds for multi-asset portfolio asset allocation. The Investment Office will be the investment allocator and will be responsible for the definition and design of the investment building blocks. The purpose of this role is to lead the business analysis for the Investments workstream.
The role will be responsible for the successful delivery of the requirements specifications needed to deliver the workstream objectives. The output of the Investments workstream will feed directly into the product set-up, implementation and transition so will require close cooperation with those workstreams.
This will entail engaging with business teams, senior stakeholders, external fund managers, third party administrator, and other workstreams to help ensure that external managers are onboarded within agreed timelines. The activities will include, but not be limited to, documenting and agreeing requirements specification for business teams, defining process models and the higher-level operating model, define and document operational oversight and reporting requirements and resultant processes.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong BA with business stakeholder management
- Investment allocation/Front Office experience in a change capacity
- Fund set up of Tax transparent funds (UK ACS, Irish CCF, Lux and Swiss FCP) & Asset Transfers beneficial but not essential
- Investment operations or Fund Administration/accounting (experience of Alternative Investments and real estate beneficial)
