An Azure Engineer is needed to join a leading Energy Client on an initial 3 month Remote work from home contract.
As the Azure Engineer you will be responsible for the automation of end to end Infrastructure as Code deployments.
The Azure Engineer will be a Scripting/Automation engineer who has many years' service improvement automation experience specialising in Azure.
This a remote working Contract for an initial 3 months, with the potential of extension.
Required skills and experience for the Azure Engineer ( PowerShell/Terraform/GIT ) includes:
- Extensive, complex PowerShell Scripting
- Extensive Terraform experience with detailed knowledge of the AzureRM provider
- GIT repositories/GIT management
- Clear, concise spoken/written communication
- Azure Automation/DSC/Functions
- Experience of PaaS components (API Management Gateway/App Gateway/Azure Firewall/CosmosDB/SQLDB/SQLMI, etc.)
- Packaging/automated application installation/silent installation
Desirable skills and experience for the Azure Engineer ( PowerShell/Terraform/GIT ) includes:
- Windows/Linux build/configuration
- Private network integration
- Azure Architecture/Design
- API integration (REST/other API calls/Webhooks) Advanced Excel skills.
