Job Purpose and primary objectives:
Blazor Lead Developer who will be working with one of scrum teams to build and maintain, change and further evolve both existing and new products. Expectations is to sustain the culture of continuous improvement both from a process and technical perspective, ensuring that:
Concentrate on building working software.
When the code leaves development it is production ready.
If code is changed, it will only be better.
SOLID principles are followed.
Keep re-use at the forefront of your mind.
Frequently deliver high value features to our customers.
Automated testing is utilised to ensure quality is maintained.
Agile techniques such as TDD, CI/CD are used to ensure the whole team is involved in delivering the right solution to customers.
Focus on building great stuff.

Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):
. Performing analysis, development and delivery of high-quality Web applications using the Blazor, .NET CORE, C#
. Becoming a valued member of one of our scrum teams focused on:
o Stories that deliver features and improvements to one of Aviva's existing products
o Stories aimed at exploring and shaping a new product or feature during its discovery phase with a view to establishing it as a key part of Aviva's product suite in the future
. Contributing to the development of solutions that meet the strategic requirements of our business.
. Identifying improvement opportunities such as enhancements to standards or technical innovations to increase the quality and efficiency of delivery.
. Providing technical expertise and collaborating in teams operating across the UK and India
Key Skills/Knowledge:
. Building Interactive Web UIs using Blazor.
. Modern software engineering practices, such as Test Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development, Continuous Integration (Jenkins), Code Analysis software (SonarQube).
. Developing responsive UI
. CI/CD enabled by AzureDevOps
. Agile way of thinking
. SignalR
. .NET Core, C# and ASP.NET
. HTML5 & CSS3(should have expertise in that)
. jQuery
Experience required:
Senior developer with the commercial experience on
. .NET Core
. Very good hands-on in UI development skills
. Very good hands-on in software engineering best practices such as Test Driven Development (TDD), Refactoring, CI/CD etc.
. Need to work in distributed agile environment
. Responsible for end to end deliverable.
