Description
A Murex Environments Manager is required for an initial 6-month contract with a Banking organisation based in London. This role is fully remote and is inside IR35.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the day to day activity with a focus on Murex environment management
- Respond to queries related to environment configuration
- Set-up of: launchers, wrapper scripts, load balancing, and launcher allocations
- Manage EoD related set-up, maintenance, and additional EoD job configurations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to environmental instability, bottlenecks, and/or poor performance
Experience:
- Experience in Murex environment management
- Working in cloud environments/AWS will be a plus
- The individual would be an SME on Unix and has experience with DBA Knowledge in SQL (Oracle and/or Sybase)
- Would be able to write script so comes from a technical background (ideally Perl and Shell)
- Could of worked as a configuration manager in the past.
- Needs to understand how Murex environments are created, set up and managed/maintained.
