What will you be doing?
Reed Professional Services are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to work with our customer's Development Experience team as increased support is required for their programme of works. Working with our customers Technical and Business stakeholders, the Business Analyst will carry out an initial discovery phase to understand the requirements for the RPS team and continue to provide support to the engineers and the customer through to a successful delivery.
The Business Analyst will work in a team with x4 RPS software engineers to support our customers wider development experience team.
The right candidates will have the following skills and experience;
Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, working closely with Architect and Development teams in a complex environment
Comfortable taking the lead on discovery phases
Proven experience working within agile environments including Scrum/Kanban following TDD and BDD principles
Understanding of technical epics, with the ability to break down into business requirements providing better visibility of the delivery
Demonstrable experience of using relevant documenting & diagramming techniques such as Domain Models, Process Flow, Use Cases, User Stories, User Journeys
An understanding of AWS and associated technologies
Strong Microsoft office skills- Excel, Visio and Word
Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience. Ability to communicate effectively between business and technical teams
Initially remote based, team will be based in Salford when Covid restrictions permit. Please note- for Supplier's engaging via a Limited Company- this will be a deliverables, output based contract of 6 months.
