IT Infrastructure Project Manager
6 Month contract
£395 p/d (Inside IR35)
My client is undergoing a strategic transformation program and as part of this is looking for a talented IT Infrastructure Project manager to lead projects across International Markets IT. The candidate will be expected to manage several projects and/or programme work-streams in parallel, delivering multiple, large scale and budget technology projects that may include data centre consolidation/migration, infrastructure security and technology upgrade (hardware and/or software) projects.
We are looking for innovative people capable of managing projects in on time and budget, whilst ensuring all governance, risk and regulated frameworks are adhered to throughout the project life cycle.
skills:
- Experience of leading product currency refresh projects of Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and SQL DB technologies would be advantageous.
- Strong IT Infrastructure project management/leadership background.
- Proven track record of delivering on large scale and/or multiple IT Infrastructure projects using different project management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.
- Experience overseeing all aspects of the project, including planning, resource allocation, budget, requirements, design, and delivery execution (development, QA, and implementation) through to handover to Production Support.
- Communicates well up, down, and across the organization.
- Ability to write effectively for a variety of audiences in appropriate language.
- Resources across multiple sites, whilst building solid business relationships
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills; must be capable of focusing and maintaining project direction and be able to lead and motivate a team of specialist technical and/or business resources, as well as management of stakeholders.
- Ability to plan deliverables and problem resolution
- Managing projects with several moving parts together with good organisational skills and multi-tasking is a must as is the ability to making rigorous decisions at pace.
