SQL and VBA Developer - Inventory Database Management

Prague/Remote

Sentinel are working with a with a major pharmaceutical client, searching for an experienced SQL and VBA Developer to Maintain a SQL based inventory tool within their Operational Technology environment.

You will maintain and adapt the SQL based inventory tool used in the program activities and ensure adapted regular reporting and work with the relevant team to ensure smooth integration with ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of production inventory data into ServiceNow and collaboration with the production site to answer their question and improvement request.
  • Support the program team in VBA based report on the SQL inventory database. Ensure adapted and fitting reports on regular base. Create new reporting based on the defined needs.
  • Maintain and operate the SQL database which support the Back End of the inventory data and ensure synchronization between ServiceNow and the database.
  • Provide input and training to sites and identified stakeholders on the topic of inventory management for manufacturing assets and systems

Experience

  • Programming skills: both Front End VBA, Back End SQL to support us with our internal tool.
  • Experience with working with ServiceNow. Ability to work with and understand the inventory management ServiceNow
  • Strategic view: ability to abstract problem, simplify issues and translate into demands (either in SNOW or for our internal tool)
  • OT understanding: Basic understanding of OT and of the OT environment
