Description
Our Public Sector client is looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Analyst (Data Analyst) on a 3 month initial contract.
The main requirements of the role will be to identify data sources, analyse data and present finding and make recommendations.
You will be required to assist with the following:
- Quality assurance of analyst data work and reports
- Oversee delivery of ad-hoc/reactive workload on accident data requests/FOI queries, supporting analysts and wider team where workload increases.
- Ensuring workplan deadlines are met, particularly to set timelines
- Responsibility for reporting requirements around fatal road reporting, and indicator monitoring for committees
- Oversee data upload and verification processes
The ideal candidate will have experience of the following:
- Data Analysis and data presentation
- Project Management skills to help with workload planning and report writing
- Data Transfer
- Data Mapping software ideally Mapinfo
- Advanced MS Excel skills including data extraction working with large and multiple data sets
- Generating ad hoc reports.

Day Rate £300 per day on a umbrella company basis.
