Scrum Master - Financial Services, Birmingham
Please note this role will be full PAYE (inside IR35)
Role: YASH Technologies are seeking an experienced Scrum Master for our global financial customer based in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be expected to build relationships across a wide stakeholder community and business partners. They will be highly motivated and organised to ensure the Scrum teams are delivering to the highest quality and delivering true benefit to the organisation.
Key Tasks:
- Confidently facilitate Scrum rituals & workshops enabling teams to deliver value.
- Coach teams on Agile/Scrum principles and values.
- Aid teams to effectively identify, plan and implement successful outcomes of work packages and projects.
- Provide reports and updates to senior management.
Experience:
- Accreditation in Scrum Master certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Professional Scrum master (PSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Other.
- Experience of managing scrums in the Financial industry
- Manage both technology and business related projects
- Significant experience of leading Scrum and Agile development teams with experience of different methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban etc
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven experience of working with software delivery teams and experience of working with Agile delivery teams
- Demonstrable experience in applying a broad range of Agile and Lean methodologies to a variety of different situations
- Excellent understanding of principles behind methodologies such as: BDD, ATDD and TDD
- Involvement in full development life cycle; design, coding, test, build, QA, deployment and maintenance
- Experience of collaborating with offshore teams
