Description
My client has a fantastic new opportunity for a contract Data Specialist to join them on an initial 5 month contract. This is in line with their financial year and with a view to rolling 6 month extensions beyond this.
The role is outside IR35 with individual SDS and CEST. It is fully remote working for the moment, with the potential for occasional on-site work in the future.
Candidates must have proven experience designing and building data models to fulfil strategic data needs. This person needs to be a dynamic practitioner who can assimilate to the new domain quickly and deliver at pace.
It is essential for candidates to have at least 5+ years SSIS and SQL experience, with proven time served designing databases, working with data strategy, modelling, governance, management and data analysis.
Sound ETL knowledge is required, as is experience working with both on-prem and cloud hosted (AWS/Azure) databases, alongside working with cross-functional agile teams.
Any additional NoSQL (MongoDB) or experience with microservices is of benefit, but not essential.
You will be joining a digital transformation project with lots of interesting data challenges and problems to solve.
