Would you like to join one of the most exciting Data & Analytics teams in retail based in Leeds?
Henderson Scott are urgently recruiting for a BI Developer to join on our client on a 6 month temporary assignment, PAYE/Inside IR35. This role would require some (max 2 days) onsite working at some point.
Reporting into the Data Analytics Manager, the core of this role will involve designing, developing and enhancing the companies reporting toolkit.
Working in an agile environment, you will be responsible for understanding and translating business requirements. Strong data visualisation skills and an understanding of data processing is critical. In addition to BI development, the scope of this role will include influencing internal stakeholders to define and improve data sources and processes.
We're looking for someone who has the following experience:
- Utilising a variety of data sources and tools: Prior experience using Power BI for report development
- An understanding of data warehousing as well as demonstrated history of working with any of the following: Oracle Essbase/SQL/Teradata/Tableau/Power BI/Alteryx
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with experience of project work, enabling you to handle tight deadlines, working constructively with the project team to deliver on shared goals
- Strong communication skills to enable you to effectively communicate at the right level with technical, non-technical and senior business stakeholders alike
