Data Architect - Azure, Data Vault, Kimball, Single Customer View, CRM, Contract
Global award winning business seeks a strong Azure Data Architect to define, own and implement a strategic data landscape and ensure the strategic vision for data architecture is met and maintained by working with the Chief Data Officer and a range of Stakeholders including Business Managers, CRM Managers, Technical Architects, DBAs, Data Owners and Data Stewards.
A key project will be Real Time Data Platform and its Single Customer View - how should this develop and evolve to progressively serve more complex use cases and applications.
Experience of working in organisations with B2C Single Customer View/Single Version of the Truth along with hands-on experience of developing and deploying the tools and strategies that are required for this ... are "must haves" for this role.
- A good working knowledge of DataVault V2 concepts, modelling and implementation
- Experience architecting Kimball style dimensional data warehouse design
- Understand, design and implement event based, Real Time and streaming data integration patterns that can scale to enterprise level volumes
- Architecture, design and implementation experience with Azure Data Lake or it's core components such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, Yarn,
- The ability to compare and contrast approaches and toolsets
- Demonstrate an excellent in depth understanding of Microsoft Azure and data tools
- Significant experience in designing and leading the conceptual, logical and physical design for distributed databases.
- Excellent experience in driving Meta data architecture and Master Data Management Solutions
- Excellent hands on experience in performing analysis and design for Data Management and Data Driven projects
- Experience with Big Data/Hadoop/NoSQL, SQL, Visualisation and reporting tools, Power BI, data profiling analysis, GDPR and transformation
- Experience of Cloud Data technologies, solutions and future Cloud Data Strategies
- Expertise in activities within primary discipline such as Master Data management (MDM), Metadata Management and Data Governance (DG)
- Consistently demonstrate strong experience in Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Database architectures, design patterns, best practices, and programming techniques around relational databases
- Ideally experience in working within a regulated gaming environment
- If not other regulated industries eg. Telco, Financial Services, Utilities etc
