We are looking for an experienced and passionate SDM design engineer to join our Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects and develop your career.
Scope of Work and responsibilities
- Resource will be responsible for SDM solution designing, HLD and LLD writing and update in a fully virtualized Cloud native Volte/5G network.
- MOP creation and updating the MOP's for SDM Network Elements Integration and upgrade.
- Responsible for Integration and upgrade of SDM NE's in Cloud environment and with other NE's like STP, DRA, IMS NE's.
- Responsible to handle customer's requirement and align the requirements in the design.
- Design E2E test plans for complex solutions based on an understanding of requirements of SIP/IMS/DIAMETER/LDAP/MAP/SOAP.
- call trace analysis for SIP, IMS, DIAMETER, LDAP and MAP.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- collaborate closely with other cross domain team members
- 3-7years of experience as a SDM integration and deployment professional or similar.
- Strong exposure in Telco Cloud and Virtualization.
- Experience in SDM VNF onboarding and termination, scale in/out.
- Wireless Mobility Network Experience Domain knowledge with SIP/DIAMETER/LDAP/MAP/SOAP protocol and IMS based services is necessary.
- Strong Working knowledge of SDM network elements (HSS,HLR,MNP,EIR, One-NDS and SDL)
- Knowledge of SIP/IMS/DIAMETER call flows.
- Strong Knowledge on 2G, 3G, 4G and IMS Core technologies.
- ATP creation and testing.
- Knowledge on OSS solutions like NetAct/NMS and MyCom (Performance Management, Alarm management etc)
- Network topology & various interfaces
- Understanding of call processes between End to End system testing
- Experience in following domains- 3G, 4G, Volte, IMS, SIP, Diameter, INAP, CAMEL, MAP, LDAP
- Ability to analyze and debug problems in complex systems.
- Experience in using Wireshark and other relevant tools for debugging issues
- Hands on experience in platforms like Unix (Solaris/Linux).
- Quality Management Tools: HP ALM is a plus
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
SDM design engineer requirements and qualifications
Preferred but not essential:
- LTE, Volte,5G knowledge is a plus
- Experience of non-functional testing eg performance, robustness, security, usability etc.
