SMS Test Specialist (Inside IR35)
Berkshire/Remote working
Pay up to £500 per day, inside IR35
Initial 6 month contract, ongoing.
With current Covid restrictions, work will begin remotely and adjust accordingly as the situation changes. Once restrictions ease, the expectation will be 2 days a week in the office)
Digital Skills are pleased to be working with one of the UK premier mobile networks. The organisation has undergone significant growth and transformation recently and are growing their testing teams in order to help provide coverage.
You will be working within the network's teams, where you will develop SMPP scripts to simulate current ESMEs and develop Mavenir provisioning scripts.
Experience & Competencies:
- SMS, SS7, Sigtran, WireShark, Unix, Scripting, Node JS, Apache Zookeeper, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Elastic search, Automation experience, REST APIs, SMPP.
- Software development skills to create custom test automation suites, including Android app development.
- Operations experience of SMS platform
- Detailed technical knowledge of SMS design or experience
- SMS experience - ideally Mavenir
- SMS Test Analyst and SMS Delivery
- Networks Signalling
