Joining a fast growing and ambitious tech company; you will a commercially aware Front End Web Developer with a passion for coding and a proven ability in creating engaging, responsive UI/UX experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop new websites using existing wireframes and stylesheets, inc. translation of website design wireframes into actual code
- Produce visual elements of our network of websites
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Ensure coding standards and best practices are adhered too
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven commercial experience and understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JQuery
- Previous commercial experience using Git
- Experience and knowledge of hosting websites in an AWS environment
- Previous examples of work will be requested at interview stage
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Working knowledge of PHP and Laravel is highly desirable
- Familiarity with the Adobe suite is a bonus eg basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, re-size, or perform small adjustments on an image
