Enterprise Architect

We are looking for an Enterprise Architect for a top-tier bank based in London.
The ideal Enterprise Architect will offer extensive experience from a Financial background.
This role has two areas of accountability:
- To ensure the products & services are supported by the right architectures and solutions meet the customer needs
- To ensure the design of the product solutions are cost-effective and maintained through the agile development life cycle, managing the flow of the backlog of design activities
The role will carry out some or all of the following activities:
- Defining the detailed technical solution design to meet the business requirements, identifying target and interim states as needed
- Working with Ops Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect-related issues, etc) are resolved and that any design-related issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Evaluating the impact of solutions to upstream and downstream services/platforms and associated processes
- Identifying wider architecture implications spanning (business, data, platform, and security architecture)
- Ensuring solutions utilise strategic capabilities within IT and there is a progression from interim or tactical solutions towards a target architecture with minimal technical debt
- Working with other architecture teams and technical specialists to ensure designs integrate with upstream and downstream platforms and are aligned to the change programmes occurring outside Operations
- Reviewing and iterating solution designs and gaining approval via Technical Design Authority review
