Business Analyst - Investment Banking (Revenue Estimates) - London - £750p/day (Umbrella - Inside IR35)
We are currently supporting our Tier 1 Investment Banking client with their interim requirement for an experienced BA/PM with strong Front Office experience.
The Role:
A hybrid BA/PM role where your priority focus will be revenue estimate enhancements, including technology implementation and migration.
With a Product Control or trading risk and controls background you will be responsible for assisting the delivery of a number of 1st Line programs designed to enhance revenue estimates - particularly the migration of governance metrics to a strategic supervisory system.
Background/Experience:
The ideal candidate will have solid experience of;
- Markets businesses and trading desk revenue calculations.
(Reporting life cycle from Front Office risk system revenue estimate generation, trader sign off/submissions and validation against Product Control actual revenue results).
- Experienced in delivering technical solutions in 1LoD control environments
- Exposure and understanding of strategic supervisory systems and the ability to partner with Technology to deliver front-to-back technology infrastructure and enhance data quality.
- Work with Product Control and the business to review operational performance
- Identify issues and drive remediation.
The Person:
- 5 years + Business Analysis experience within Investment banking.
- Track record of sourcing and defining business requirements
- Able to effectively partner with wider business to deliver technical requirements
- Skilled in deep dive analyses, gap analyses and proposing responses
- Overseeing and supporting testing and UAT activity
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, self-motivated and comfortable delivering to deadlines.
- Providing regular up-to-date status reports throughout project cycle
