Description

Role: Change Risk, Control and QA Manager

Location: Remote, London

Initial 6m Contract

Daily Rate: Competitive - PAYE/Umbrella

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key sponsor to embed the Delivery Assurance approach and framework and engage with 2nd and 3rd line stakeholders to refine the broader frameworks in line with assuring delivery whilst meeting regulatory and corporate standards
  • Oversee the design and implementation of a risk-based approach to assurance in line with existing Risk Frameworks with focus on known failure points/processes including service introduction assurance
  • Undertake independent reviews of the testing to ensure that appropriate evidence exists to support execution of the agreed testing approach and that the usability of the solution is of required quality for members and employees
  • Act as an escalation point of contact for all Assurance issues across the change life cycle and provide coaching and guidance in ensuring that the Quality Assurance Framework is applied appropriately for the change being delivered including overviewing change test approaches where needed
  • Identify and lead deep dives into change activities, ensuring quality is Embedded across the change life cycle including supporting the creation and completion of remediation activities as required
  • Collaborate closely with the Change Methods and Capability team to develop and execute remediation plans, ensuring that best practice is shared and ensure remediation activities have been completed to the appropriate level of quality
  • Lead the development and implementation of a suite of indicators based on a risk approach to identify best assurance practice across the process

  • Trusted expert in change management, with relevant change management qualification
  • Expert influencing skills, able to shape the outcome to meet the needs of the broader organisation
  • Advanced collaboration skills, able to effectively bring together cross functional teams to deliver the required business outcomes
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills, building effective relationships at all levels
  • Ability to drive and deliver change, adapting style and approach to ensure success through keen political awareness
  • Ability to challenge and act as an independent review
  • Able to engage, support and coach employees at all levels, gaining buy-in to the benefits of adoption of the assurance framework
  • Track record of successful application of governance to projects and programmes

Additional Requirements:

  • Eligible to work in the UK without the need of visa support/sponsorship
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
