Window 10/Infrastructure Project Manager - Worthing, West Sussex (Initially Remote)
6 to 12 months rolling contract/£425 per day (Outside IR35)/Initially remote, then 2/3 days per week in the office in Worthing, West Sussex - flexible working from home options

Person requirements - Any UK Nationality or Right to Work in the UK experienced Project Manager required, with experience of Infrastructure and ideally Windows 10 build (Managing the setup of a Hosted Desktop platform and/or operating system upgrade in a complex environment) deployment/migrations projects.

A leading technology strong professional services company seek an experienced seek an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to manage a large scale geographically dispersed Windows 10 Build project.. The role will involve setting up the full environment, securing and then delivering key strategic sites and migration to them. The successful candidate will manage the project from initiation through to closure and will be supported by a delivery team.

Experience required for the Windows 10/Infrastructure Project Manager, position:

  • Window 10 Build/Deployment/Migration experience.
  • Technically understands Windows 10 and the surrounding requirements to deploy it.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience of working on multi-site, geographically dispersed sites/teams.
  • Technical team man management experience (managing the engineers actually doing the rollout).
  • Ability to quickly forge relationships/strong stakeholder management experience.
  • Varied background in terms of IT project delivery.
  • Implementation/Change experience.
  • Experience of working in a maturing environment.

Responsibilities for the Windows 10 Project Manager, position:

  • Managing any assigned projects to provide the deliverables needed by the organisation.
  • Planning the project and monitoring any dependencies with other initiatives.
  • Managing risks and issues, ensuring each has an owner and that appropriate mitigation is in place.
  • Keeping the project within budget.
  • Mobilising temporary project teams, providing task management and motivating staff to deliver to challenging timescales.
  • Ensuring that the quality of the project's deliverables are acceptable, balancing this against time and quality.
  • Participate fully as a professional member of the Change Delivery team to ensure a high performing environment.

Key skills/knowledge/qualifications/experience required for the Sharepoint Project Manager, position:

  • Professional Project Management accreditation eg OGC's Prince2 or PMP.
  • Solid and demonstrable experience of successful project delivery across a number of project domains and environments eg procurement, IT, organisational change.
  • An ability to remain positive, with a can do' attitude and ability to find pragmatic solutions to challenges.
  • An ability to influence decision makers and drive change in the behaviour of others.
  • Personally credible and able to gain respect and trust from stakeholders.
  • Articulate and able to communicate effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Resilient under pressure and able to work in a constantly changing environment.
  • Budgetary management between £2M and £10M pa.
