Site Reliability Engineer (Python, AWS & GCP) - Fully Remote Contract - 12 month + Market Rate per day
JNC are working with a well-known consultancy that require a number of Site Reliability Engineers to join the team and work on a large programme of work. This role will be looking to keep you occupied for between 12-24 months.
As a Site Reliability Engineer you will be expected to help ensure that the clients systems and services are running with optimum reliability and performing in line with their user's needs.
Responsibilities:
- Help drive SRE across the team while insuring system uptime and reliability.
- Help with management and adoption of cloud infrastructure.
- Create various automation tools to custom specifications
- Monitor the performance and health of the clients various systems and create tooling to assist with improvements.
Experience Required:
- Over 2 years' experience within a SRE role.
- Extensive experience with Cloud based infrastructure technologies. Ideally AWS and GCP.
- Development skills with Python or Ruby or Go.
- Infrastructure as code (IaC) experience - Ideally Terraform
- Containerization capabilities. Ideally Kubernetes administration.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes.
- Extensive experience using various monitoring tools. Ideally Grafana, Prometheus or other.
