SAP ABAP Developer
Whitehall Resources are currently recruiting for a SAP ABAP Developer for a 12 Months contract based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Job description:
We are now looking for an ABAP Developer with expertise in Data area who wants to be a part of an exciting journey where we are implementing SAP worldwide for both online as well as store channels.
You will be a part of a fast-moving environment where as an ABAP Developer you will be responsible to design, develop and support solution around Master data with connection to Logistic, accounting etc.
You will be responsible to develop and deliver solutions that enables the collection, processing, and management of requirement from one or more sources, and the subsequent delivery of solution to support of key business processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years' experience with SAP solution Development, Good Knowledge in ABAP area, - knowledge of MDG is added benefit
- Good knowledge of Master data and its usage on different business processes.
- Understanding of SAP ECC and/or S4/Hana, machine learning etc.
- Ability to perform early analysis including positioning of capabilities in the system landscape as well as - presenting alternative solution options and technical choices
- Ability to create database design and models used as part of the software solutions
- Ability to comprehend the different architectural viewpoints and identify and understand their dependencies
- Ability to design and build high-performing and secure software solutions according to the customer needs with given tools and languages
- Ability to apply leading software development practices and standards to develop robust and maintainable software
- Ability to code in functional programming languages and build distributed, scalable and resilient solutions
- Ability to test and deploy software solutions, including ability to design and build advanced automated 'build, test, and release' infrastructure
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Engineers in other Product or Enabling engineering teams to solve and reduce technical dependencies
Responsibilities:
- Have a holistic view of how the solution supports different business outcomes
- Requirements gathering across multiple domains such as Supply Chain, accounting, and controlling objects
- Translate product strategy and requirements into suitable, maintainable, and scalable solution design - according to existing architecture guard rails
- Good knowledge in Code review and best practices to support and guide the team as well as produce necessary documentation
- Realize the maximum potential of SAP, MDG, Workflow Development, customizing approval workflows for parallel and multi-level approvals
- Use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative design options which take target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems into account
- Build the simplest possible solution that fulfils user needs as well as meets functional, compliance and quality requirements
- Drive testing and deployment of software solutions, including ensuring automated testing to ensure solution quality
- Make sure to deliver solutions on time and identify and eliminate potential waste (eg unnecessary documentation, inefficient methodologies etc.)
