SAP Consultant (m/f/d) MM/WM
Role description
- Coordination with end users and business users on support activities
- Ticket resolution
- Bug fixes, enhancements, testing
- Troubleshooting
- Conducts or participates in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs
- Support production configuration and assist in functional change requests
- Perform initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality
- Work with SAP to resolve software bugs
Skills required
- Experience in SAP MM/WM having good knowledge of different procurement processes like direct, indirect, third party, sub-contracting, stock transport orders, stock transfers, account assigned POs, asset procurement, consignment etc.
- Good knowledge in configuring warehouse management structures – storage types, storage bins, quants and be able to configure - extending material masters to warehouse management functions, batch management in warehouse, shelf life functionality, Warehouse movements, transfer requirements, transfer orders etc.
- Good knowledge in goods receipts with inbound delivery, goods issues with outbound deliveries, picking and packing and handling unit, stock replenishment, fixed bin replenishment, picking / Put-away strategies, storage unit management, Mobile data entry, RF technology and devices, Cross docking andYard management
- Good master data management skills including developing and working with data migration tools
- Should be able to write functional specifications in detail
- Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area with this knowledge
