Description
For our customer, a global acting trading company, we are looking for an Analytics Strategy Consultant (f/m/d) SAP BW/ GCP to support in a project.
Aufgaben- Develop a data strategy for a currently partly shared data environment of SAP BW (SAP related data) and the Google cloud analytics platform (all non SAP data)
- Elaborate potential solution scenarios (e.g. data virtualization vs. primary data pool in GCP and therefore data duplication, mutual data exchange between both platforms) to implement one, ideally seamless, integrated data pool between both platforms (SAP BW and GCP)
- Describe and discuss pro/ cons per solution
- Clarify questions like How can report users ideally connect to a unified data pool in order to consume SAP/ Non-SAP Data
- Elaborate on potential challenges of above mentioned solutions, especially in regards to data governance and cost management
- Provide a recommendation for one of the above mentioned solution as well as a task list/ roadmap to implement it (GCP is set as the the leading platform for analytical use cases (adhoc analytics, reporting and data science))
- Highlevel evaluation of relevant top 3 providers for a data virtualization (SAP vs. GCP)
- Discussion regarding the feasibility of an implement solution (impact on costs and organization to host such infrastructure)
- Consulting about the definition and recommend a set of use cases in order to implement the recommended solution (in consultation with requestor/ stakeholders)
- Strategic consulting skills regarding analytical environments
- Solution Architecture / Principal Engineering skills regarding cloud based platforms
- Profound knowledge regarding data governance/ data strategy
- Profound knowledge regarding corresponding GCP and SAP Technology (e.g. Data Integration, data virtualization and Identify Access Management)
