BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (listed in order of importance):
(Please keep in mind that the candidate selected for hire must meet all of the qualifications listed as basic)
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Management Information Systems, or 4 years of related work experience
Minimum of 4 years of application project management experience that may include software development and design, professional services consulting and/or program management
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing implementations of large-scale projects
Minimum of 3 years of technical (Oracle, Java, .net) and testing experience with knowledge in common testing tools.
Multi-disciplinary leadership capability, a strong customer focus, excellent people skills and the ability to develop a process driven organization
Knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures, testing methodologies and development life cycles
A broad understanding of software delivery processes; expertise in program management methodologies, experience in client relationship management and an understanding of products and services included in a Healthcare Care Delivery portfolio
Demonstrated track record of managing the full life cycle of investment projects in accordance with the current KPIT project delivery processes (CDP), including the management of the CDP program/budget process.
Strong written, oral communication and analytical skills
Cerner Gen Lab experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (listed in order of importance):

Experience in healthcare clinical systems
Project Management (PMP) certification
Background in applications used to deliver healthcare and a general understanding of the Healthcare delivery process

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (listed in order of importance): (The responsibilities of the job will form the basis for benchmark screening questions)
This Project Manager will enable successful delivery of testing through disciplined CLIENT"S project management processes and close collaboration with business and IT partners.
The PM will be required to know or learn CLIENT'S program and process methodology and to execute it within the established CLIENT"S organizational framework and oversight processes. The position will be responsible for the Gen Lab project for the Quality & Testing Services function.
These responsibilities include:
Managing all QTS testing phases of the project delivery life cycle and provides program and individual project status reports and statistics using the Comprehensive Delivery Process (CDP).
Managing resource supply & demand to ensure appropriate integration engagement is achieved across all stakeholder groups
Act as SCAL QTS Point of Contact for SCAL HealthConnect, laboratory and Legacy system project intersection and integration. Plan and execute effective coordination among these key stakeholder groups for Quality and Testing Services.
Managing and escalating program/project issues.
Provide estimates, develop and obtain sign off on Statement Of Work (SOW), participate in Requirements Review Walkthrough and provide sign off to baseline testing requirements
Develop coverage/traceability Matrix/test cases design, support and coordinate gathering on test data and environment requirements, develop and obtain sign off on Test Plan.
Leadership ability to motivate, foster collaboration, set achievable objectives, maintain a positive outlook, take responsibility, make decisions and provide constructive feedback.
Ability to use negotiation skills to achieve project outcomes around issues, scope, schedule, costs/budget, risks, and resources.
Managing the Scope Change Management Process for the project.
