Description

The role will require someone to have an overall understanding and successful delivery of Reporting requirements related to Liquidity. You will anticipate and mitigate potential risks & issues arising from obtaining and using accounting data for reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a background in working on internal ALM business requirements and requirements arising from Liquidity legislation eg. FSA Liquidity regime, Basel 3, local regulatory policy

Responsibilities:
*SME in accounting principles underlying analysis and reporting of on-and-off balance sheet positions
*Ownership and delivery of individual release requirements documents
*Must have excellent understanding of accounting principles and processes
*Providing for engagement of relevant Project stakeholders (sites, regions, GMO and IT) relating to project requirements
*SME input into Liquidity Risk Management framework and reporting requirements
*Be fully conversant with the principles of Liquidity management and reporting,
*Apply knowledge of Accounting principles to deliver requirements for reporting liquidity risk positions
*Form a partnership with Group, Local IT, Regional and Site organisations to deliver requirements
*Work closely with diverse Business stakeholders to ensure their requirements and priorities are successfully met
*Work with the Release managers to ensure consistent requirement standards are enforced and that best-practice is shared across releases
*A detailed understanding of all existing and new Liquidity legislation
*Financial Services Project Experience across both internal reporting and regulatory requirements, preferably Liquidity Management and Reporting

Essential Skills:
* Chart-of-account hierarchies
* Interactions between local and global ledgers
* Implementation issues with obtaining and using GL data
* Close processes/timelines
* Working with Liquidity Risk frameworks
