Provide training and professional development on new SOX technologies and applications to DBAs and application teams.
Perform other normal DBA functions as required.

Technical Knowledge
Expert knowledge of Oracle 11g, 10g.
Expert knowledge of Oracle security.
Expert knowledge of UNIX - AIX, Solaris, Linux
Expert knowledge of UNIX shells - Korn Shell
Experience with SQL Server security framework and Active Directory
Experience using Database Vault, Audit Vault and ASO.
Experience using Grid Control monitoring tools.
Experience with SAN storage systems
Strong SQL skills. Ability to code packages and procedures for both Oracle and SQL DBMS.
Clear understanding of RDBMS fundamentals.
Ability to write clear documentation of operating procedures and specifications for applications to be developed in relation to security components.
Exceptional communication, problem solving, and teamwork skills.
Extremely detail-oriented and able to follow clear methodologies for troubleshooting and development.
Ability to support and work within standard software development life cycle practices.

Basic/Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
10 years of experience with RDBMS is required with the last 6 years in Oracle
8 years experience in information technology and diverse technological environments, data and process analysis and modelling, logical database design, physical database design and implementation.
10 years experience with distributed database concepts and design
8 years experience with performance tuning and trouble-shooting skills
5 years experience with n-tier architecture, cluster and database connectivity issues in a Client Server environment
4 years experience in database security administrator role

Preferred Qualifications
Experienced in planning and implementing SOX tools such as Imperva or Guardium in an environment with formal change control processes and compliance processes (eg, HIPPA, PCI, SOX)
Has implemented database solutions for SOX or HIPAA compliance requirements. Must have analytical ability, excellent communication, strong judgment, problem analysis techniques, in-depth knowledge of database security administration, along with a broad knowledge of diverse data administration methodologies, database technologies, tools, and alternatives. Experience with DB2/LUW DBMS is a plus.
