Job Title: Accounts Payable Accountant (Contract)
Job Description:
We have the need to appoint an Accounts Payable accountant to our team. The successful candidate should have strong Accounts Payable experience. Experience working within a Shared Services environment would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Lead knowledge transfer from local country AP unit to SSC unit based in Dublin
- Proactive management of key process partner relationships, regular communication, proactive issue resolution, market & business awareness, explanation and supported delivery of change management activities
- Key member of the SSC Accounts Payable Management team, to include responsibility for Invoice processing, Payments, Cash forecasting and compliance
- Invoice Management & coding of Purchase invoices
- Process Documentation
- Assist with management Accounts Payable US GAAP month end reporting cycle according to agreed deadlines
- Support the development of short, medium and long term strategic plans for Shared Services to assist in delivery of overall organisational F&A strategies and objectives
- Provide documentations, training and feedback to team members
Skills and Qualifications essential:
- Strong Accounts Payable background - 2-4 years relevant experience
- Experience working with SAP and SAP systems essential
- A professional accounting qualification or equivalent will be an advantage
- Experience working in a shared services environment
- Project experience, especially in analytics & process documentation desirable
- Experience with and involvement in Change Management
- Must be mobile- 50% travel requirement
- Must be fluent in German, Slovak, Polish or Swedish
- Ability to inspire and motivate the impacted & receiving organisation
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
