Experis IT-a division of the Manpower Group, has an immediate need for a Info Sec Engineer in Charlotte NC. This position is currently staged as a 6 month contract and the client can extend the project for a maximum of 18 months. There is the possibility of some remote wok once the engineer and team have established a strong working relationship. The position is definitely hands on and requires 5+ years of Information Security implementation and management in a large enterprise setting using Checkpoint R65 or later.

Required Qualifications
- Significant recent experience, expert-level knowledge, and a track record of proven expertise in the implementation and integration of complex configurations involving Check Point Firewalls running R65 or later.
- BSCS, BSCE, or 4-year degree in a similar technical discipline along with 5+ years of experience in the implementaiton and support of secure network solutions, or a combination of equivalent education and work experience.
- At least one of the following certifications: CCSA/CCSE (Check Point), CCNA/CCNP/CCSP (Cisco), SANS GIAC Security Administration (Level 4 or above), CISSP, CEH
- Strong knowledge and experience in the areas of IP routing, switching, load-balancing, and other foundational network protocols and applications (DNS, TACACS/RADIUS, DHCP, etc.)
- Significant exposure to the challenges and techniques involved in monitoring and automation of large-scale networks (>100k nodes).
- Moderate experience in related information security technology areas, including vulnerability assessment, ethical hacking, and application security.

This is a contract position with a well known financial services company in Charlotte NC.
