Due to a full project book of diverse projects and strong continual growth an immediate opportunity exists for an experienced Expeditor to work with the Project team on an array of large scale EPCM Mining and O&G projects. This role will be Brisbane based with the opportunity to travel to site for those thrill seekers who enjoy getting amongst the action!
Reporting to the Manager of Expediting, you will share the team's dedication and passion in realising the outcomes necessary for success in this multi-disciplinary environment.
Skills and Experience
- The ability to build strong working relationships and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills be confident, and possess high levels of professionalism
- Experience with an understanding of Releases Notes, liaising with Logistic providers and dealing with Site personnel
- Demonstrate experience working on large scale projects ideally within the mining industry.
- Excellent Management skills including the ability to plan, set goal and manage time, priorities , resources, accountabilities, schedules and cost
- Goal orientated and pro- active
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make presentations as required
- 5+ years industry related experience preferably within the mining sector
- A recognised degree or equivalent qualification will be highly regarded
