High Level Job Description: Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, conduct a fit/gap analysis of the business requirements against delivered functionality, develop functional design, complete application configuration, manage scope and expectations of business unit participants as needed, conduct system test, and develop training material and job aids on a project by project basis. Minimum 6 - 8 years of experience.
Job Description: Primary focus will be to design, develop and test the SAP Business Warehouse (BW) components required to support the Project 1Up analytic reporting requirements including BW infocubes, virtual infocube, infoobjects, BW extractors, ODS objects etc., as necessary.
Participate in the development of reporting solutions primarily using the SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW) application.
Work from the functional/business requirements to design and develop data sources (install standard data sources, enhance existing data sources, and create custom data sources).
Work from the functional/business requirements to design and develop BW objects (install standard objects, enhance existing objects, and create custom objects) like info objects, business content, info sources, data targets, transfer rules, update rules, etc.
Work from the functional/business requirements to develop BW reports primarily using Business Explorer (BEx). Integration of SAP BW queries developed using BEx, Web Application Designer, and Business Objects may be required.
Create Technical Specification documents by clearly understanding the functional specs and business requirements.
Design an efficient data model to support architectural needs.
Redesign of interfaces for performance improvements. Work on performance tuning and enhancements of Back End objects and queries.

SAP BW Back-end Development (Function-Agnostic)
- BW Extractors, Data Store Objects, Infosets, Infocubes, Multi-Providers, Query Designer (v7.0 preferable).
- SAP ECC Back-end Table Navigation Skills (Function-Agnostic)
- Ability to navigate Back End ECC tables and trace ECC fields to the ECC transactions/screens that populate them.
- ECC knowledge of SD & MM master data.
- Supply Chain knowledge a plus
- ABAP experience required to code BW transformations
