SAS data analyst required for a 24 month contract in the West Midlands working for a large life and pensions organisation

Description
The Role
Working on our Insurance Data Migration Project, your overall brief will be to verify that data has been migrated to the new platform correctly and build new SAS actuarial valuation processes to report MI and model pointing from the new admin system. In addition you will own and manage change control/documentation processes and write data specifications/test plans, whilst lending your data expertise to the actuarial reporting community.
The Requirements
From a relevant insurance and pensions industry background and able to demonstrate good Life and Pensions business and data knowledge, you will have a proven history of using SAS (v9 or higher), both PC and Mainframe, as well as Excel, Access, MS Visio and Mainframe (IBM, VAX, DEC) experience. In addition, we are seeking a strong working knowledge of data migration and data analysis experience, preferably within a life insurance context.
