Experis, one of the nation's leading I.T. Staffing and Managed Services companies, has an immediate need for a IIS Administrator for a 6+ month opportunity in the Downtown area. The details are below:
Position Description:
The role of this position will be to analyze business technical requirements from the various LOBs and design the appropriate Distributed or web infrastructure solution, implement and deploy that solution and provide 3rd level production support for that solution. This position serves as the primary partner and leader in the identification, design and deployment of technology solutions for all WEB & distributed solutions.
This position will also require participation on various efforts to resolve ongoing problems & incidents. Support EIS and LOB web-based initiatives. Will be responsible for ensuring ongoing process and quality improvements within the group. This person should be familiar with implications of implementing vendor and custom applications within a given environment.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience supporting IIS (Internet Information Services) 6 & IIS 7, Windows 2003 & 2008, network IP protocols, clustering technologies, F5 load balancers and SQL databases;
Thorough understanding of networking, VLAN's, LAN/WAN technologies;
Knowledge of SAN technology;
Understanding of load balancing, .net, com+ technologies;
Minimum 4 years providing direct client support
Minimum 5 years in distributed and web solution design, architecture and deployment, with primary experience with HP and IBM hardware and operating systems;
Minimum 5 years experience supporting, managing and resolving complex technical problems;
Minimum 3 years proven project management experience; exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities;
Superior written and oral communication skills; excellent technical documentation skills; strong interpersonal and consultative skills.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Blade and virtual server experience as well as prior project management experience a plus;
Solid understanding of .net and 3 tier we architecture preferred.
Experience in Storage technologies, Performance and Load Testing, DR considerations, Unix, Java Application Servers, Portal Technologies are a plus.
