Job Description:
- Administration of VMWare and NetAPP/SAN environment and equipment. Monitoring and resolving problems in local area network of Servers and workstations.
- Provide on-site support, answering and responding to all reported systems concerns and/or system outages.
- Installs hardware/software, conducts system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software and security related problems.
- Ensures system backups and recovery.
- Maintains user accounts, data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
- Maintains documentation, and provides front line support for IT related problems.
- Provides on-site scheduled, on call, extended hours and weekend support as required.
- Provides input to the design of the enterprise systems.
- Analyzes and resolves complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration.
Required:
- Knowledge supporting NetAPP/SAN 3 - 6 years
- Experience administering SAN; specifically, NetAPP
- Experience with snapshot mirroring
- Experience with NetAPP replication
- Must have 3 - 5 years' experience performing Systems Administration
- Must have experience with VDI
- Knowledge supporting vSphere & vCenter
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Solid understanding of LAN/WAN operations.
- Ability to work independently.
