Title: Senior Java Developer w/Networking Experience
Duration: 6-months w/possibility of extension
Location: San Jose, CA
*BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
*7+ years of enterprise software development experience with a proven track record of delivering high quality commercial enterprise products.
*Excellent core Java skills such as J2EE/Spring Framework.
*Enterprise RDBMS (Oracle and/or Sybase), SQL, JDBC.
*Experience with SSH and Telnet.
*Good understanding of Object-Oriented design patterns.
*Extensive experience in multi-threaded programming.
*Experience with Algorithms.
*Web Tier Technologies: JSP, JavaScript/CSS/HTML, AJAX/Hibernate, GWT.
*Middle Tier Technologies: EJB - JBOSS, JMX, JMS - IBM WebSphere, MQ and XML.
*Experience with Windows OS, UNIX, Linux multi-platform based development is desired.
*J2EE framework (Java Patterns, Java Security, JNDI).
*Java XML Parsing (Xpath, WebServices, XAX, SOAP).
*Experience with Network hardware and technologies - Preferred.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills.
*Organizational and problem resolution skills.
*Excellent team building skills, including cross-functional team building.
Must have the following required Networking Experience:
Networking background required such as VPN, IPSec, Tunneling, TCP/IP, and PortForwarding.
