- Providing support in the procurement process to ensure sourcing outcomes meet IT strategic direction and optimal operational framework within agreed timeframes.
- Negotiating of terms and conditions in complex contracts (ie those contracts that include Service Level Agreements, service rebates, milestone payments, key deliverables, etc) in consultation with internal and external IT partners so that so that financial and contractual obligations are clearly understood and documented
- Single point of contact for the management of IT Panels, renewals and new contracts including the preparation of IT Panel and non panel Request for Tenders and Request for Quotations
- Minimum 5 years IT contract negotiation and management experience
- Minimum 5 years large scale IT procurement experience
- Solid knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines.
- Sound understanding of contract management frameworks utilized in a medium to large IT environment
- Proven management experience, experience with government, networks, applications and operations are desirable
