The Network Administrator's role is to ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer network. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, VOIP Phone systems, hard phones, soft phones and communication links.

Preferred Experience with:
* Asterisk communications server
* VICI Dial Call Center Suite
* Call center dialer systems

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Project planning and managing. Updating project plans to meet evolving needs along with managing completion of priorities.
* Managing multiple vendors during project implementations.
* Monitor and analyze network performance across the organization*s LANs, WANs, and wireless infrastructure.
* Ensure the stable operation and efficient performance of company networks.
* Maintain network documentation including network and system diagrams.
* Plan and implement any improvement, modification, or replacement of network infrastructure components.
* Manage all network hardware and equipment, including Routers, VPN connections, Firewalls, Switches, UPS systems and phone systems.
* Ensure network connectivity of all workstations.
* Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation.
* Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
* Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the network back-up procedures and disaster recovery plan.
* Responsible for recommending network strategy, hardware and software.
* Responsible for Internet connectivity and Router/Firewall configuration and maintenance.
* Projects may involve having to work during non-business hours (weekends, holidays, etc.)

Qualifications:
* BS Degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience
* Minimum 5 years experience in hands on LAN/WAN network administration
* Minimum 2 years of VPN experience
* Minimum 2 years of Router experience
* Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards
* Able to install, monitor and maintain network security, user tracking and Firewalls
* Experience with developing the network strategy, capacity planning, selection of network hardware and software
* Self-starter, able to work with limited supervision, with excellent time management, prioritization and communication skills
