Sr Project Manager

Position Summary:
Responsible for endVto-end management of the Chapter 288 project and deliverables.. Plans, executes, and finalizes projects on time, on budget, following appropriate SDLC standards, and delivering specific, measurable results to business partners. Manages project components including financial management, quality management, control management, and business continuity management. Develops a broad functional and application knowledge within the domain. Demonstrates strong interpersonal relationships with business partners, analysts, the IT delivery team and Quality Assurance. Works with system analysts and business partners to understand business objectives. Analyzes project risks, issues, costs, and benefits to make relevant recommendations, proposing evolutions and changes where needed. Effectively communicates project expectations, issues, risks, and decisions to project team, business stakeholders, and IT. Provides leadership and direction to project teams by coordinating the work of analysis and development resources. As needed, tracks SD team activities and metrics, develops reports, analyzes metrics for trends and makes recommendations for improvements.

Key Accountabilities:
1. Project Management and Implementation:
X Establishes, maintains and manages business partner expectations regarding overall project performance
X Responsible for scoping, planning, executing, and monitoring multiple small and/or medium projects and M&E to ensure work is on schedule, on budget, and meets business needs
X Formulates, defines, and gains consensus on project scope and objectives, deliverables, and milestones
X Develops a project plan to manage end to end activities and the execution of the project
X Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path
X Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans
X Conducts, organizes, and schedules project meetings, documents meeting minutes and drives next steps
X Identifies and tracks business and/or technical issues and risks; resolves technical issues and risks; ensures execution of all mitigation plans
X Develops and delivers project communications, including status reports
X Adheres to the defined SDLC, ensuring all stages, activities, and reviews are completed in full
X Develops and delivers SDLC documentation, including but not limited to requirements, technical analysis and decisions, and high-level architecture
2. Resource and Financial Management
X Coaches, mentors, and motivates project team members and influences them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
X Responsible for the control of project costs and overall project budget management
