Description
As a key member of the Group Credit Policy team
- To develop, draft, write and advise on Credit Policy
- To provide challenge and support for the Divisional credit policy functions in their delivery of robust and consistent policies and best practice.
- To develop and implement Group Credit Policy using a risk based approach supportive of business ambitions.
- To support effective and efficient communication of and compliance with Group credit policies.
- Development and approval of new and updated Group Credit Policies (specifically drafting and writing the policies)
The jobholders must have experience in:
- Policy development or implementation
- Work in a front line and/or credit department role
- Comprehensive understanding of Credit risk.
- Extensive understanding of the external operating environment, regulatory and legal practices.
- Excellent knowledge of Credit Policy
- Excellent written skills, including drafting of Credit Policy in a financial institution previously.
