Design, Technical Support/Assistance, Application Engineering, Cad, Promise -E, PLC/HMI Software code and system flow charts
My client is looking for a Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop electronic and electrical products used in the generation of UV for accelerated curing systems.
Main Duties:
-To lead electronic/electrical projects with internal and external customers, liaising with sales and vendors on product specifications.
-To obtain a familiarity with our equipment in order to develop and continually improve our product range to maintain a competitive edge.
-To ensure Designs meet all relevant legislative requirements including CE, EMC and UL etc.
-To provide technical support to internal and external customers.
-To provide technical assistance on site for Installation and Service.
-To provide customer support in the form of application engineering when new systems including power supplies and controls are being integrated into OEM equipment.
-To test prototype systems and electronic products suggesting enhancements.
-To provide support in the Production Test Department as required.
-To assist in the smooth transition from prototype to production including the generation of test plans and procedures.
-To design Standard Products with supporting documentation to cost and time targets.
-To be able to create PLC and HMI software code and system flow charts.
-To assist with electrical specification, selection and design of electrical circuits, components and drawings on both Cad and Promise-E.
-To ensure operating and maintenance manuals contain all relevant and necessary information
-To work flexibly and carry out additional or alternative duties as necessary to meet the Company's needs. Therefore, the duties detailed above may be varied by the Company from time to time to reflect changes to the role and/or the operational requirements of the Company's business.
